Salvatore Ferragamo’s Fall/Winter 2010-11 show took place on Sunday in Milan. Indeed, the collection seemed familiar to me: poncho coats, shorts, belts and boots… Massimiliano Giornetti, the smart designer of the brand, has presumably been inspired by the Fall/Winter 2009-10 collection of Chloe’s designer Hannah McGibbon. And Hannah was inspired by the illustrations of Antonio Lopez. So, if we are to have a deductive approach herein, Salvatore Ferragamo has been inspired by the illustrations of Antonio Lopez!
