Should they really come back?

I have been trying to settle down my reaction since December taking into consideration that humankind should have a reasonable taste in fashion. It’s enough. I ought to share my opinions. We don’t always have to write upon our favorites. It’s an inevitable reality that some nightmare-like trends are coming back. I know it is too late to reproach Karl Lagerfield for bringing back that trend just because I think he had to respect to the memory of Coco Chanel or Marc Jacobs. But I still have time to warn Zelfist readers against the nightmare.

I mean Clogs. Gross, ugly, wooden clogs… Turkish-style clogs used in baths are even better than those. Alexa Chung and such like fashion fans have been already wearing those clogs with thick socks or skinny jeans even before the spring has really come.  I again insist that not every trend has to be successful. Let us to forget about them and pretend that we have never-ever seen them. Clogs are enlisted in my worst shoes ever top three.

On my worst shoes ever list are Crocs the first with a landslide. The second are undoubtedly Uggs. (Ok, they keep warm etc. But, enough is enough!) As for the third, Clogs namely, I don’t think they will stay forever. They are extremely uncomfortable, so the fashion world cannot find an excuse for loving them. How on earth can shoes named Croc, Ugg or Clog be a trend anyway?

Do you still insist on wearing them but you can’t decide on the combination? Ok, here are some recommendations:

Among the most favorable trends of the season are soft, powder colors and nude tones.  I even confess that those fringe clogs are not very bad, though. They look elegant with that combination.

A little bit rock n roll could brighted up the pair. Don’t give up your black staples just because of the spring.
